What Is Baptism?

At Walker Academy Youth Ministry, baptism is a meaningful step for youth and young adults who have chosen to grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with Christ.

Who Can Be Baptized?
Baptism is available to:

Young adults (with parental consent when required)
Participants must demonstrate a desire to live according to Christian values and complete baptism preparation.
Baptism Preparation
Before baptism, participants will:

Attend a baptism preparation session

Have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance

Receive parental consent (if under 18)
Baptism Services
Baptism services are held in partnership with our church community and pastoral leadership. Dates and details will be announced in advance.
Families and loved ones are encouraged to attend and celebrate this important milestone.
Parent & Guardian Information
For students under 18, parent or guardian consent is required. Parents will receive full details regarding baptism preparation, service expectations, and scheduling.
